What is the difference between Paragliding and Hang Gliding?
There are lots of similarities in paragliding and hang gliding. The main difference is the way you are flying the glider. With paragliding you are in a sitting position and with hang gliding you are in a prone (facing down) position.

Thanks to the pilots at tandemhanggliding for our hanggliding experience during January 2010!
 
Never did the sport before, but we both felt we had a momentous time .... and what a magical view .... great feeling to be flying up with the birds .... feeling the power of the wind .... great choice to have the photo and video footage .... Proof to friends and family back home!
 
Would certainly recommend this for anyone looking for something more adventurous.
 
Maybe next time, the weather conditions will favour the paragliding option for me ....
